Outset launches Digital Twins for customer-grounded market research

AI research platform Outset has launched Digital Twins, an extension of its research product developed through a simulations lab. The company says revenue and team size have each tripled since its previous discussion.

The product creates one-to-one AI representations grounded in long-form interviews that form a person’s “Persona Core”—their values, concerns and experiences—with additional operational or customer data layered on. Represented people can refresh their data, grade their twin’s answers and receive confidence scores indicating which probabilistic outputs may need more human data.

Outset says the strongest initial demand is from organizations studying hard-to-reach or specialized audiences, where conventional research can produce few signals. It says the twins could also let employees test marketing or pricing ideas without directly researching with real consumers; the company has not established how accurately the twins predict real-world behavior.
