Businesses may need agents tailored to their workflows and culture

As consumer agents become more popular, businesses may face more calls and messages from them and could deploy counteragents to process and negotiate with other agents. The analysis predicts a growing need for companies to adopt agents customized and fine-tuned for their operations, then test, evaluate, and improve how they perform.

Such alignment may reflect a company’s legal, operational, and cultural context rather than only the morality encoded by a model’s training lab. An off-the-shelf model may not be a cultural fit for a particular company, while companies may want software that helps them understand how their agents work.
