Host argues that a wider range of chip suppliers could benefit the compute market
One host argued that AI labs are using different chips, data centers, hyperscalers, and neoclouds for different models and stages of inference. In his view, even if one accelerator is faster and another handles more demanding tasks better, each can have an optimal use. He added that AI agents may be relatively easy to port across platforms, citing earlier coverage of an Anthropic implementation for AMD that, he said, was quickly built using vibe coding. The host viewed this trend as good news for investors expecting a broader set of silicon suppliers, but stressed that the market remains very early and heavily dependent on Nvidia.
