Type Builds Shared Workspace for Collaborative AI Work

Type is building a shared workspace for teams that work with AI. The product is intended to move work from individual Claude or ChatGPT sessions into a shared environment where teams can build together; Type characterizes collaborative, or “multiplayer,” AI as not yet solved.

The company is focusing on non-technical teams that are increasingly using agents to write code or complete other work but may not know tools such as GitHub or how to deploy to Vercel. Type says these users need additional tooling to make agent-driven workflows work in teams.
