Affirm reports 30% lower cost per pull request after forming AI productivity team

Affirm formed a developer-productivity team of about 12 people around January to curate AI models and coding tools for engineers, including Cursor and Claude, and make it easier to move to better options as they emerge.

The company says the team keeps its tools near the cutting edge of commercial and open-weight models and coding harnesses.
