Cadillac unveils V1 hybrid concept based on LMDh race car

Cadillac has introduced the V1, a limited-production road model based on its LMDh race car. The concept combines a 5.5-liter DOHC V8 with an electric motor for a claimed 830 horsepower, and its design resembles a full-on race car.

It is unclear whether the V1 will reach production. Cadillac previously showed the CN hypercar prototype, which was never released; a road-going V1 would be interesting but appears ambitious for the brand. Interest in the project is nonetheless strong, and its release has not been completely ruled out.
