Charleston storefront offers vendor-neutral AI guidance and implementation

Jim Riley and his partner opened a Charleston storefront on January 1 to help individuals and businesses learn about and implement AI. The business serves consumers, small-business owners and larger companies; the first visit is free and is used to understand a customer’s needs and develop a plan.

Riley says the service is vendor-neutral: customers choose their AI tools, while his partner learns and installs them. The business grew from their pandemic-era produce-delivery operation and continues alongside it.

Riley says the storefront initially attracted customers slowly, but interest increased after a viral video. He believes demand will grow as AI becomes more accepted while its applications continue changing, though expansion will wait until the first location has a firm operating foundation.
