Prince links token theft and attacks on AI providers to a hunt for computing resources
Discussing recent attacks on OpenCode, Railway, and an unnamed major inference provider, Matthew Prince suggested that attackers want more computing resources and access to models. Token theft and attacks on inference providers, he said, give them access to those tools. He said attackers have historically gone after valuable online targets and considers tokens and inference access especially attractive now. Prince advised keeping security patches up to date. He added that he did not know the details of the Railway attack and described a possible link to recent vulnerabilities as his hunch.
