Leno: Business owners should stay focused on their core work
Discussing side businesses, Jay Leno described an optometrist friend who opened a hot-dog stand. When the first location was doing reasonably well, the friend opened a second one across town; Leno said he eventually lost his optometry business. Leno connected the story to the idea of not getting distracted from a profitable line of work. He also said his car-accessory and polish business came after his run on The Tonight Show.
