Public says event contracts should relate to markets and portfolios, not sports entertainment
Public says it designs for investors who take investing seriously and manage portfolios, retirement funds and life savings through the platform.
Its criterion for event contracts is whether an event could affect markets and, in turn, a user’s broader portfolio—not simply whether users might want to trade it. The company views sports and entertainment contracts as “entertainment finance” that belongs outside the main portfolio.
