Legora CEO: Legal AI adoption is accelerating, but remains cautious

Legora’s CEO said legal AI adoption is accelerating, but more cautiously than adoption of software-development tools. Engineers can experiment and test code, he said, while legal errors may be difficult to identify until they have serious consequences, and assessing work can require a senior practitioner. As a result, he said, legal teams are slower to hand work over entirely to AI agents. He also said a public case in which ChatGPT produced a fabricated legal citation that reached the Financial Times reflects poorly on the field.
