Holiday breaks may accelerate AI adoption, guest says
One podcast guest said AI adoption happens in steps rather than continuously and suggested watching holiday periods. In his observation, younger users may introduce AI to relatives at family gatherings, helping create a new user cohort. He cited Claude Code: although the tool had been available for some time, he said it had a particularly notable inflection around Christmas, when people had time to try building projects with code and then encouraged colleagues to use it after returning to work.
A host added that the S-1 cited a possible 20% decline in revenue or token spending during the two-week Christmas holiday. The guest agreed that established users may take a break while new users begin using a product. He offered this as a possible explanation, not a proven mechanism for seasonal growth.
