Anthropic customer figures point to growing enterprise demand

While discussing Anthropic’s S-1, the hosts cited more than 1,000 organizations spending over $1 million and more than 10,000 spending over $100,000. Net revenue retention (NRR) for the group spending more than $100,000 was 900%. The hosts said companies that began using the product in 2024–2025 increased spending as AI tools spread beyond individual early adopters to marketing and operations teams; they described average spending at those organizations as rising roughly tenfold.

More than half of Fortune 500 companies, the hosts said, spend over $100,000 a year on Anthropic. Participants called the figure impressive but perhaps unexpectedly low. One suggested that many large companies rely on basic enterprise tools and that spending is distributed among Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and other providers. Those remarks were participants’ commentary and speculation, not independently confirmed figures for the entire market.
