Real’s app supports groups linked to content

Real’s app lets users create groups nested under any piece of content, where members can talk. Many subcommunities are still global and form around unexpected meme or sports moments, such as people following Brandon Podziemski’s attempt to score 30 points.

The team says it does not create these moments. As the product grows, it thinks it may begin curating such groups or encouraging them beyond communities centered on teams or players.
