MongoDB interim CEO says Meta lacked experience serving large enterprises

MongoDB’s interim CEO said Meta’s talent push appeared to address a perceived gap in enterprise expertise, not just AI skills.

He said spending on talent in the AI era was “breathtaking” and that Meta had little experience selling to complex global organizations such as Goldman Sachs or JPMorgan; building that expertise organically would probably be challenging. He added that Mark Zuckerberg had spent freely again in this case.
