Morgan & Morgan commits $1 billion to AI over the next decade

Morgan & Morgan said it will commit $1 billion to artificial intelligence over the next decade. Founder John Morgan said the effort would be self-funded, while the firm has spent about $300 million on technology and AI since 2021.

The personal-injury firm is developing its in-house MX2 platform on top of frontier models. Its agentic workflows are designed to retrieve medical records and police reports, generate demand letters, and track case patterns without a lawyer initiating each step.

Morgan & Morgan plans to make MX2 available to other law firms by invitation starting in late 2027. The announcement does not establish that the firm has acquired its own data center or clarify how much of MX2 will rely on third-party models.
