Podcast hosts joke about robot salespeople and a new SaaS distribution channel

The podcast participants jokingly discussed humanoid robots promoting businesses by spinning signs and salespeople pitching SaaS door to door. One host speculated that humanoids could spin signs for hours, then said robots would go door to door around the clock. A guest pushed back, saying humanoids were unlikely to be able to do that anytime soon.

The host called the front door an underrated advertising channel and suggested reviving door-to-door outreach to market software. He named Higgsfield, Ramp and CrowdStrike as examples. The participants also discussed possible customer incentives: the guest cited an offer of AirPods Pro in exchange for a short meeting and said she had seen a Rippling offer involving eight nights of sleep. The host extended the idea to software pitches during trips to ski resorts and rides from private aviation terminals.

This was speculative banter, not a report of a launched marketing campaign or an existing robot capability. At the end, the participants joked that robots could spin signs in Big Sky while business development representatives handled driving and interpersonal interactions.
