Real describes play-based collectibles and performance ratings

Real’s founders described a virtual-currency model in which users can earn currency and collect digital representations of individual plays—such as home runs, three-pointers and touchdowns—through real-time raffles or general packs.

The app rates performances from 0 to 10 and can score above 10; its founders said users refer to the ratings in rookie rankings and MVP discussions, and some players check the app during games.
