CoreWeave CEO says older GPUs can remain useful for years

CoreWeave’s CEO argues that GPUs no longer suited to training frontier models can still be deployed productively for a long time in other workloads.

He said the company’s A100s, based on 2020 architecture, are contracted through 2029.
