Turo CEO cites risk management and brand awareness as growth priorities

Turo CEO Andre Haddad said the company expects around $1.2 billion in revenue this year on $3.3 billion in Gross Booking Value (GBV). He said Turo has spent recent years improving risk prediction and management so it can avoid riskier trips and focus on the most profitable, least risky ones. Haddad called that work the biggest bottleneck to growth. He said profitability rose dramatically in 2026 and is expected to grow significantly in 2027.

He named building awareness beyond car and tech enthusiasts and reaching the mass travel market as another priority. The “Rent a Car, Not a Rental Car” campaign has been live for a few months, he said. Haddad expects brand-building, alongside technology and service improvements, to support growth over the next few years.
