2027 Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC Convertible Gets a 795-HP V8

Ford’s 2027 Mustang Dark Horse SC convertible is described with a 5.2-liter V8 producing 795 horsepower and 660 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The convertible has a less aggressive MagneRide suspension tune than the coupe and will not offer the coupe’s hardcore track package. The Tesla Roadster, when it eventually arrives, will probably be significantly more powerful, although its release timing is not specified.
